Jun Oreta's testimony:
"
Tunay kong naramdaman ang napakaganda at napakasayang samahan ng ating batch. Nung una I was a bit apprehensive because I wasn't sure how I would be welcomed. I was afraid I might not recognize some of you. But the banner at the front gate "Welcome back Mauro Oreta", replaced that apprehension with excitement and eagerness to be united once again with batch 77. In a way I felt like the prodigal son. There is some guilt in me because for the past 30 years I've never made any effort to attend any reunion or get-togethers. But like the story of the prodigal son, I was welcomed with a feast!"

Greetings batchmates! Well we had a fair turnout last November 10.
Actually we had 2 balikbayans in Ka Uro and Don Yambao. Incidentally
Don has been in and out of the country for the past 2 years. Actually Aussie
citizen na sya after staying for more than 20 years in Australia. He jokes that he
is jobless & he needs work badly . Ka Uro really had a swell time and
after the get together we had several rounds of beer (again) in one of the
bars in Sn Fdo. Good 'ol clean fun kami with Riget, Doc Archie, Dennis, Uly and
me. Hopefully Ka Uro could once again join us by Dec 8 at our Christmas party
to be held at Marco's place. It would be a family affair so bring the wife and the
kids for a better bonding. Ronnie would be distributing our Batch 77 Tshirts this
Dec. Some of the topics discussed was the suggestion of Dennis to really make
an effort to get in touch with our MIA classmates. It has been 30 years and it
would really be rewarding if we could gather a 70% attendance in our monthly
meetings. You know boyzz we are probably the only bosconian high school batch
that has a monthly get together. Maybe if we chronicle these meetings we
could apply for a world record in Guinness di ba? Of course our thanks to our
gracious host Ronnie Silvestre who has made his residence our official monthly
headquarters. See you this December batchmates!

God Bless!
Benjie A.

Hope that one day our batch would be complete in one of our get together, although it may be impossible surely an attendance of 60 to 70 percent is really an achievement.
